James Redmond Jr., 66 of 1309 West 4th Street, died April 2, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. Redmond, a long-time resident of Greenville, was born Jan. 26, 1948 in Pitt County. He was a retired CNA and attended New Beginning Deliverance Church, 1701 South Green St., Greenville. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., April 5 at New Beginnings Church of Deliverance. A funeral will follow at the church. Burial will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Mercedes' Funeral Mansion and Cremation.
