Icsha Brown-Keel Icsha Tammell Brown-Keel, 44 transcended early Thursday morning, July 17, 2014, Jehovah Our Sovereign GOD called home one of His most prized jewels, one of peace and love. Icsha was born July 14,1970 in Williamston to the late James Arthur "Pete" and Winnie Irene Brown. Tammy as she was so affectionately called was the "baby girl" of the Brown union of 13 children. Tammy attended school at Rodgers Elementary and graduated from Bear Grass High School. She matriculated at Martin Community College and received an associate's degree in business administration. She worked as a senior billing clerk at Martin General Hospital, serving with excellence and dependability. She also worked with her eldest sister and served as funeral staff attendant at MERCEDES' Funeral Mansion & Cremation Services of Williamston until her health declined. She met and married her former husband Alphonza Higgs and from that union they were truly blessed with one son D'tarian Higgs and he was the apple of their eyes. The Brown-Keel family will receive friends Friday July 25, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at MERCEDES' Funeral Mansion & Cremation Services. Funeral services will be held at Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church at 1 p.m., Saturday July 26, 2014. Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by MERCEDES' Funeral Mansion & Cremation Services of Williamston.
